In the Rose Parade are many high school marching bands, all being judged. Close to the judges they have a big sign to let the directors know the band needs to start playing. Mary grabbed it and started running through the band with it. I tried to move WITH her as she was running when I took the pic. turned out just how I expected - everything else is blurry except her! Nice when it works right! :)

Made In Oregon
I took the 3-day weekend off to relax, rest, try to get over this stupid cold, clean, and play with the family. It was a great weekend and now I'm back!
I took this photo in 2006 while marching in the Rose Festival Parade. A lot of people take photos of the parade from the sidelines. I like to offer a perspective from the parade. This is one of my favorite signs downtown, really cool. During Christmas they turn the reindeer's nose red. :)

2008 Snow Storm
Back in December of 2008 around Christmas we had the most snow I've seen since my family moved back here in 1976 (I was 13). It was great fun for the kids, a mess for everyone to drive in. Thankfully, I can easily work from home so I never went into work, just went downstairs and logged on. This meant we were able to get out with the kids and enjoy it. This is a view of our house and the street - we are at the corner of two streets which is why it looks so bent. ;) This is several photos stitched together in Photoshop.

Rose Garden Panorama
Before a Portland TrailBlazers game. I took these fast and didn't adjust the camera settings enough. It's a little blurry but turned out pretty good.
